Homework #2

In your 14" x 17" notebook, divide a page into 4 parts.
In each of the 4 parts, make a drawing of a single object, using any medium used in class.
The emphasis of each drawing is to create a sense of volume, using a combination of light/shadow, contour, cross contour.
When you are finished, you will have 4 drawings on one page.
Each drawing must contain an area of pure dark/black and pure light/highlight/white.

(an example of the required tonal range is shown below in four different media)



You can EITHER make four drawings of the same thing in four different media, OR four drawings of different objects in the same media.
