Halfway through the semester, I want to congratulate everyone in class for the hard work done up to this point.

The mid-semester assessment helped provide a better overall idea of how each of you are doing, and what you might need for the rest of the semester.

I will remind you that everyone is welcome to stay for the one hour lab after each class (Art Majors are required to stay). Often, students can receive more individual instruction during the lab (or, if you choose, you can be left totally alone to experiment on your own).

The studio is open between the end of the afternoon class and the start of our evening class. When you have the time, and would enjoy the opportunity to draw on your own, you are always welcome to show up early and draw from the still lifes which are set up.

The studio is open to all of you when a class is not in session. Wednesday and Friday are usually free.

Again, congratulations on the work you have already done. Keep up the good work, good attitude, and you'll finish the semester with some great accomplishments.
