Colors
You can read about theory, look up color wheels, take a class, but the real learning starts when you find yourself experimenting on your own, making different color combinations with the medium you are using.
Doing a quick internet search for "color wheel" or "color theory" is useful. I suggest you do it.
But, make some color charts of your own and keep them with you. You might be surprised by some of the combinations you discover.
