Week 4 Creating Volume, seeing inside objects, shadows
bring your Gel Pen and Water Brush

Week 5 Line and Space, Gesture and Variety
bring your India Ink, empty container and Brush

Week 6 finding space with Angles
bring your Ebony Pencil

Week 7 Hatching, Cross Hatching
bring your India Ink and Brush or Pencil
bring ALL of your work that you have made this semester for a
Mid-Term Review

Week 8 Shadow and Reflection
bring your India Ink and Brush or Pencil

Week 9 Complementary Colors
Warm vs. Cool Colors
bring your Pastels

Week 10 Old Masters, copying drawings of the Old Masters
Van Gogh or earlier
bring your prefered media

Week 11 drawing on Toned Paper
White as a Color
bring your Ebony Pencil and at least one white pastel (best to bring the entire Pastel Set)

Please note the required media for each class (on the right, in italics and underlined).
You will ALWAYS need your 14” x 17” pad of paper, an Ebony Pencil, and an eraser.
If you are unsure about what to bring to class, then bring everything on the materials list.

Homework will be assigned through handouts given during class. Homework must be completed in your 14” x 17” pad of paper and saved for your final review.
